On this page you’ll find links to information, meditations and practices designed to help you to learn about and develop more self-compassion. Check out this video below where you’ll be introduced to Self-compassion, then explore some of the head, hand or heart practices for yourself!
First, please watch this video about self-compassion:
Now explore the Heart, Head, and Hand sections below. This week, do at least one activity from each of the sections. Then you’ll be asked to reflect on your experiences with that in our Facebook group. To get more benefit from these practices, it is really good to do them regularly, particularly the meditations. To increase the potential benefits, see if you can challenge yourself (or gift yourself!) with doing a meditation practice daily.

In this module we’ve seen some videos from Kristen Neff, who is an expert researcher in self-compassion. She has created a web site with all kinds of helpful self-compassion resources. You can even take a self-compassion quiz to see how self-compassionate you are (and how to boost your score if you need to work on it!).
